CryptoDakini
PRIVACY CHECK

Can websites tell it's you?

One simple check. We look at your browser, device and connection, then explain the result in plain language.

Tests run in your browser•No camera or microphone request
RESULT

Ready when you are.

Run the check to see whether your browser signals look consistent.

Why?

Privacy note: the app checks your browser locally and asks its own server only for connection information.

HOW IT WORKS

Most of the check happens on your device.

We ask your browser questions that a normal website can ask, compare the answers, and explain anything unusual.

1Check browser and device signals
2Ask the server what it can see about the connection
3Compare the signals and explain the result

PRIVACY PAGE

What actually happens when you press “Check”?

CryptoDakini is designed so the browser does the fingerprint work locally. The server is used for the part that inherently depends on the network connection.

ON YOUR DEVICE

Your browser does the fingerprint tests.

These checks run inside the page you opened. The app looks at things a website can normally ask your browser about.

Browserbrowser, platform, language, privacy preferences
Screenscreen size, viewport, pixel ratio, touch support
GraphicsCanvas and WebGL behavior
Audiobrowser audio rendering behavior
Capabilitiesfonts, voices, media, WebRTC, storage and permissions

The report is kept in the page's memory while you are using it. The app does not save your scan into a server database.

ON THE SERVER

The server checks the connection it receives.

The page makes one request to /api/connection. The server can see the public source IP and HTTP request headers that arrive with that request.

Public IPthe IP address visible to this server
Locationan approximate database lookup from that IP
NetworkASN / organization when present in the local database
Request headersthe normal HTTP headers sent by the browser

Geo-IP is looked up from local DB-IP databases installed with the app; the server does not call a third-party Geo-IP API for the lookup.

LOGS & ANALYTICS

What does the current app keep?

Access logs: OFF by default. The bundled Python server only writes request access logs when ACCESS_LOG=1.

Analytics: no analytics SDK, tracking pixel, or third-party analytics request is included in the current frontend.

Saved scan reports: the app source contains no server-side report database or report file store. The scan is assembled in browser memory.

Important: a reverse proxy, CDN, hosting provider, system service manager, or other infrastructure placed in front of this app can have its own logging. This page describes the bundled CryptoDakini app itself.

PLAIN ENGLISH

The short version

Browser fingerprint: a group of small details a website can combine into a recognizable pattern.

Consistency: whether those details agree with each other. A mismatch can have an ordinary explanation.

Purge: removes the report from this page. It does not clear your browser, cookies or VPN settings.
